APPLIANCE INSTRUCTIONS
& USEFUL INFORMATION

THE MAIN SWITCHBOARD

The Main Electric switchboard of the apartment is located on the wall, next to the main entrance door and to the left. Look for it on your arrival so that you know its location. It might be useful in case of a blackout. 

NO SPECIAL ACTION IS REQUIRED ON THE SWITCHBOARD. IT'S FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND AUTOMATED.
THE SWICHES MUST BE ON THE POSITION THAT YOU CAN SEE ON ENTERING YOUR APARTMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME. 

IN CASE THAT A SINGLE SWITCH DROPS, JUST LIFT IT UP.
IF IT DROPS AGAIN, PLEASE TAKE NO FURTHER ACTION.

IN CASES OF A BLACKOUT, CONTACT ME TO DETERMINE IF THE PROBLEM IS GENERAL OR LOCAL, SO THAT THE RESPECTIVE ACTION MEASURES ARE TAKEN.

THE WiFi

There is Wifi throughout the whole apartment. In the case that you realize the connection is faulty, or there's no signal at all, please, call me to have it checked within a few moments. 

Please, do not attempt to fix anything yourself.

AIR CONDITION

There is an air-conditioning wall unit, located in the lounge and another two in the bedrooms (one in each room). You can use the remote controllers to switch them on and off and to make your preferred adjustments. Always ensure all doors and windows are closed whilst the units are running, otherwise they will not operate efficiently.

Please, be so kind as to keep the A/C switched off, at your absence.

THE TVs


There is a standard TV in the lounge and a Smart TV in the master bedroom. You may use the TVs as you please, but take my advice:

Spend your leisure time at the beach or take a stroll along the port. You'll have a lot more fun!

THE KITCHEN

Our kitchen is small but you'll love it. It's properly kitted out!
You'll find, amongst other things, a mini fridge, microwave/oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine,
high quality cookware, plenty of pots, pans, platters, serving utensils, full set of knives, but also..
Basic condiments you might need!

We keep the fridge and pantry stocked with olive oil, butter, salt, pepper,
mustard, ketchup, mayo, spices etc. 

THE ESSPRESSO MACHINE


Instruction manual is in one of the kitchen drawers. Look for it and follow the instructions. You can't miss it. A pack of coffee tabs is there for you, with our compliments.

IMPORTANT: DON'T USE WATER FROM THE TAP TO MAKE YOUR COFFEE. USE WATER FROM THE BOTTLE INSTEAD.

THE WASHING MACHINE

The washing machine is in the bathroom. You'll find a starter stock of washing ampoules in the soft basket on top of the washer, together with a manual. Operation of the unit is very simple, with controls for each setting and a start button!

BEFORE USE: Please, read the manual first.

Basic operation:

Open the washing machine's tub, place your clothes inside, put one ampoule in, close the door, choose your preffered programme and press ''start''.

Most usual washing programs:

1.-    QUICK WASH - up to 3kgr of clothes, towels etc., max temp 30oC
2.-    WHITE CLOTHES - up to 11kgr, max temp 60oC
3.-    DARK CLOTHES - up to 6kgr, max temp 40oC
